on my tranny there is a tag that states my clutch has been upgraded to an LUK set-up. Is does not say a conversion or anything is there a way to check and see if it a smf or dual? i don'twant to start removing bolts and remove a wrong one. i am asking this because i amlooking to upgrade my clutch and don't want to spend the extra money on a smf kit if i already have a flywheel just buy the clutch kit.
thanks
Mine came with a tag also. Does it have the replacement clutch dick number on it. Something in my kit had the new part number, but I don't remember if it was on the tag or not (it's been several years). If it has the number it is probably a SMF, but you could call LUK and check. The stock replacement DMF clutch probably doesn't come with a tag, so I would guess it has the conversion.
