What tranny do i have

I have a 96 stroker f350 and it doesnt say what tranny i have on it it just say metric so could anyone help me out

For a more serious post....

*IF* you have a 1996 Ford F350 with a diesel AND a automatic....

You have a E40D.

I can not tell you if you have a 4 or 6 bolt style torque converter.

alright thanks man...has anyone ever heard of taking the tranny like out of wat 6.0L what they got cause my dad has a 6.0L and i like his tranny way better so i was jw if anyone has tried that or if it would even work

The 6.0 uses the 5r110. Good luck with that.

It will be cheaper to have your trans rebuilt by John Wood John Wood Automotive - Home or Brian at Brians Truck Shop


Either guy will build you a bullet proof trans.
