trans overheat

A buddy of mine is running the edge evo 2 on stock trans. thats the only thing done. trans fluid temp went to 275 the other day according to the edge monitor. still shifts fine and no slipping. could this just be a tft sensor? any thought thanks

HOLY SHI*....275 is not safe bud...180 is the limit for pulling a load casue the oil breaks down...i would not run the trans a 275 for more than a few minutes...maby its time for another trans cooler

that is high , may want to verify trans temp is that high ,very well could be a false reading to
