Manual Transmission Fluid change

I need to change the fluid in my manual transmission. What fluid is the preferred for this change?

Amsoil Synthetic Universal Transmission Fluid? or ???

Also how much fluid is needed?

Ford did the last change in my 95PS with manual and they put in Mercon V, and I can't remember how much. Looked for receipt but no deal.

If you use Royal Purple its "Max ATF" i believe it is 3.2 qts but cant remember exactly. I called royal purple to get this info before I installed. good luck

I use Amsoil torquedrive ATF.

i think its 3 or 4 qts. just fill till she runs outta the fill hole LOL

use syn. oil! do risk it, it cost me a a tranny to find this out the hard way.

I put Amsoil in mine If you don't have a bucket pump its a pain in a$$, not enough room for jug of Amsoil
