Can intake gaskets leak oil?

Sorry for such an elementary question but here we go. I fixed an oil leak on the HPOP yesterday but still have more oil in the valley. Looks like it is coming from the intakes. All around the intakes are oil and on the drivers side there is a clean spot that looks like it is blowing out. I tried to tighten but they are tight so they will need replacement. Where is the best place to get them and do you use any sealant on them or just bolt them down? Thanks JJ

I did have a leak at one of the fittings on the pump. I fixed that thinking that the oil drips would stop but they did not. The oil is all over the intakes but they are tight. Flyin are you saying that it is probably leaking from the boots that connect the Y from the turbo to the intakes? If so that makes sense seeing as they look oil soaked and kinda bloated looking. I will do the CCV mod at the same time.Is it best to get the intake gaskets and the boots from the dealer or is there a better place to get his stuff from. Also does the intakes get gasket sealer of any kind or just bolt them up? Thanks again JJ

Pressure wash the engine and valley and recheck.

well your intake has very little oil in it.you have a high pressure oil leak on one or more of your lines.going to your oil rail.this is the easy way to find a leak.get a rag and rap around fitting thats in your head.run motor.and the pressure should shoot out the oil to the rag, there you go, you found your leak.I have 4 lines and it took me 3 months to find all leaks.make sure you put grease on those O-rings.or they will cut.and us viton o-rings,there the best.do the ccv mod soon as you can.your boots should not have oil in them so get that throught out of your mind .there is no oil in your intake ,boost tube, turbo and it would not spray, all over.to spray you got to have pressure.there is no gasket for intake, its the gray wack stuff.thumb:pm me if need to be?
