Working all around the turbo.

Well I have had the new Diamond Eye exhaust in the shop now for about 4 months. I have now developed an oil leak which looks to be coming from around the turbo pedestal. Along with some exhaust leaks around the uppies. So looks like I am going to rip it all out. and replace all the seals and go from there. So my question is are there doughnuts on the uppies or what. Looks too small for any of that. What is the protocall for repairs on these. I will pull the turbo and pedestal. Replace orings , gut EBPV, install new exhuast but what do I need to get for the uppie repairs before I start. Thanks JJ

For some reason after posting this I was compelled to go look again. Seems when you "think" you have found the source you quit looking. I also noticed I have oil under my HPOP I found a bad oring on one of the oil lines. I removed and replaced the oring on the fitting with a bruna oring that I had here in stock at the shop. The one that came off was a viton but we will see how long this last. Still need to do the exhaust work and gut the EBPV but atleast I will not be in a hurry. The oil leak was starting to get kinda bad and was leaving drips on the ground and I hate drips on the ground. JJ

As for the up pipes, yes there are donut gaskets in them and if you have leaks its most likly there. These up pipes have a collar on them and will wear weirdly due to vibration making the metal thin. Sometimes you have to repalce the pipes too, at least I did.
