1995 innercooler?

I've been looking at the Banks Innercooler for the 1995, F350, 7.3, E40D. Has anybody put a innercooler in this early model F 350, and what's the difficulty level for doing one yourself? Can it be done with basic tools or is specialty tools needed? Thought I could install it myself if there is no welding or cutting involved. Banks says it usually takes 3 to 4 hours. Me, 2 to 3 days.

Worst part about it is cutting holes in the header panel for the intercooler tubes to go through. Other than that with a kit it should be pretty straight forward. Theres tons of threads on how to do it just search for them and you will find plenty

agreed. one tip install the spyder and then the pipes before cutting your holes that way they don't need to be any bigger than necessary. another tip install the boots on the IC before you install it. they can be a pain to get to if you try and do it the other way.

Are any of the intercoolers on ebay worth while? I have seen some cross flow with 3" in\out.

Got looking more closely at my radiator. The innercooler radiator sits in front of the coolant radiator doesn't it? What do you do with the tranny cooler that is sitting on the front of the radiator? Mine measures 12" x 8" x 1". If this has to be moved, where do you move it to so it is still working properly?
