4X4 decal on bed

So im finally getting my truck to the body shop for new paint! I wanted to keep the 4X4 on the bedside and LMC has them, but they list 2 different silvers. one for 92-95 and one for 96. Mine is a 97 so im assuming ill use the 96 one, but what is the difference between the 95 and 96?

I thought i would too. I was going to go no trim and no decal, but with the two tone it just looked odd without them.

Do the decal. The trucks look unique with them.

yes, the 96 one is the "correct" silver. That is if LMC offerers the CORRECT silver

you might be able to go on ebay and try to find different colors.

IMO I like the decals but I don't like the ford ones in that year range. get an aftermarket decal. on my 97 when I painted it I put on the newer (then) chrome 6.0 badges and got some aftermarket decals and one of the first things I did to my 08 when I got it was get the OEM decals off and get some aftermarket ones.

here you can see theyre every similar to the OEM ones but don't have the ugly red in them that didn't go with the truck at all.
