Electric Fans on '96 PSD

My fan clutch has about permanently locked up so I was thinking of replacing w/ a set of electric fans. Anyone able to help me out on this. I can fab up a bracket, that's not a problem. But what about a good place to purchase the fans, what size, and wiring? I don't want to just hook it to a switch incase the wife drives and forgets to turn them on if need be. What do I need to do in order for them to turn on automatically, some sort of relay I'd imagine, hooked to where?
If anyone has done this and can help me w/ some suggestions I'd appreciate it.

Hi,this whisky,i think if you look at some past post,s you will see a post about
electric fan,s and if i remember right i think the post did not think it was a good idea,plus they use a large amount amp,s maybe (30)amp,s
