Normal egt

I have a 97 with stage 2 injectors, intake and straigh pipe. My ext temp is in the down pipe. What should normal driving egt be?

What are you reading, move it to the manifold, who's injectors are you running?

I just got it working again had to rewire things. It was reading about 400 today on short drive. I'm not sure who's injectors are in it. I just bought the truck a few feels ago.

mine reads about 10x the speed. but mine is in the manifold. also have an IC, 160/100s and a D66

94.5 F250 Reg Cab 4x4 5 speed 4.10 276000 plus miles

97 F350 Crew Cab LB 4x4 5 speed 3.55 320000 plus miles (parts truck)

Ok thank you. Also a question with glow shift boost guage. My guage stays at around 8 psi at idle or when truck is off. It will work when I'm on the throttle. Any ideas on how to zero it out?

When the EGT probe is in the down pipe never let it read more than 1000*.

You should request paperwork on the injectors, people tend to lie about those things, either that or have them flow tested
