eot sensor

I have to replace the eot sensor on my 97. From my understanding the sensor is on the backside of the hpop reservoir. do I have to drain the hpop reservoir before i change it.

that is up near the top. Some oil will come out but not the whole reservoir amount. You could use something a like a shampoo bottle pump and pump out just enough to get to the bottom of the sensor if you don't have any other kind of pump. BTW use an allen wrench to pull the plug on top to pump oil out and refill it when you done.

I didn't write that too good. You need to pull the plug anyway to remove the oil too.
