Just bought a 7.3, few questions

Howdy all, I just bought my first 7.3 last night. It's a 1997 F350 with 273k on it. I got the truck for 3500 bucks. Everything seems mechanically sound and there is no issues with it from what I can tell other than it needing shocks all around. My main point of this post is for any pointers on what to look for on a truck with this amount of mileage. I know these engines are very stout and reliable- my dad has a 96 7.3. I'm just looking for some things that I should take care of now rather than later.

As far as I know, the transmission has been rebuilt with an upgraded torque converter and some more work to make it more suitable for towing. It also has a chip in it and a 4 inch exhaust. My plans for the truck are to DD it and set it up for towing my K5 Blazer. Any and all help would be appreciated

Check all the fuel lines, including the ones to the fuel bowl and pump, spring hangers, shock mounts, fuel tanks, u-joints, steering box and steering linkage, basic maintenance and common issues with the truck.

change all fluids and filters to start , down the road you could get some gauges/intake and some custom tunes ,
