Post CLEAN YOUR FUEL FILTER HOUSING

Just changed my fuel filter in my 97 F350 7.3. Drained and removed my filter and decided to pour some gas in it to flush it out a little and drained. Did that and put new filter in and didn't drive 30 miles and lost power big time. I was like What the heck!! Got it home and pulled the filter back out and it was clogged up with black junk. Got to looking and I had a ton of junk in the bottom that the gas broke up. So I took a little o ring and piece of plastic and rolled it over the intake tube so no junk can get into it. Poured gas in it and took a air hose and churned it all up and drained it about three times and got it all clean. So next time you change your fuel filter , CHECK IT OUT. Hope this helps some body.
