97 OBS F-250 Dome Lighting

What size light bulbs go in the dome light for the 97 F-250? The person I bought it from had LED bulbs in there that do not work. I am wanting to go back to the original. Thanks for the help with the size.

I did it and it didn't work. There is an LED in the center one that works great but the two side one's with the on/off switch not so much. Please help with the bulb size.

Ah, those are the map lights. Dunno if you've ever owned a Ford of this era before, but the original tungsten bulbs in those lights make the housing EFFING hot. Like, touch the metal while fumbling for the switch and almost burn your fingertip, kinda hot. They're actually a perfect candidate for LEDs, for that reason. I would look for another brand of LED, and also double-check that the sockets are actually getting energized. Bulb number is 105 according to RockAuto, but confirm with the owner's manual.

The 96-97 have a black plastic housing, the 92-95 have the chrome metal housing
