the truck i got came with an old style superchip not the programer but the old style chip. im getting a tw chip, but my question is is mine is a manual year 1997 and my dads is a auto 1996 can my dad use the chip? and also he said something is wrong with it and its in the chip how can i fix that?> he called superchip and they said f off pretty much and they dont make it anymore. what should i do

No, the old superchips were single bank chips, they have to match the code of the pcm, you can however call Bill at powerhungryperformance.com and see if he can reburn it for your Dad.

If it is stock, about 70-80HP. better with a best injectors.
