is this bad or good news?

i talked to a guy today (owner of a job im workin at)
some how or another my truck used to be his and he had a teribliy good relationship with it.
but to get to the point he offered me 10 grand for my truck and i turned it down.
then 12 grand
then 13 grand
then he offered me a 2004 chevy duramax with 80,000 miles on it, new tires, ball joints, and tie rod ends, ext. cab, with a hypertech programmer.

he rode me in it and it got around 18-20 mpg's!!!
im seriously consitering it

to sell it and then get me a new (newer) stroker
good deal?

if i were you i would get a newer stroker. you will have a better starting point. i have a 97 and i wish i had a newer one.

but the olny thing is my truck isnt close to worth 10 grand buti hate to get rid of it because of all the tlc i have put into it

You may want to find out. If it is financed then don't do it. because he maybe negative with the truck. Which would put you negative as well. Meaning he may owe more then the truck is worth.

IF you want to go fast take the DMAX they will throw you in the back of the seat. Just swap the hypertech out for a EFI Live.

i rode in a buddies duraturd or i mean duramax-lol
but he had the edge on it (dont rember the model) but when he put it on extreme-lets just say it was extreme!
