Windlet Handle Broke, How do I fix it?

I went to open my passenger side windlet and the handle broke off. I have no idea how to go about fixing this... Do I need to replace the entire window?




1997 F350
Mahle Ceramic Coated Pistons (De-lipped), Billet Crower Connecting Rods, DI Chromoly Push Rods, Beehive Valve Springs, Fire Ring Headgaskets, ARP Head Studs, Mike's Main Girdle, Melling LPOP, Terminator Dual HPOP, 300/200 Injectors, Dual SD Fuel Pumps, Billet Aluminum Intake Plenums, 6.0 Mishimoto Intercooler, Compound Turbos (Primary = 62/68 & Atmospheric 82/88), John Wood Tranny, 4921 Transmission Cooler, Batteries Relocated to Bed

you can get just the handle. on lots of trucks over the years and as far as i know they are all interchangeable.

94.5 F250 Reg Cab 4x4 5 speed 4.10 276000 plus miles

97 F350 Crew Cab LB 4x4 5 speed 3.55 320000 plus miles (parts truck)

I was able to find the handle on LMC for $10
I needed to order a few window seals from them anyways! Hopefully I can figure out how to remove the broken old one and replace it with the new one!

Post up how you did the repair. I just broke my drivers side one last. Be good to have tips on how it's done. Thanks Jeep

97 F250 2WD Extended Cab Long Bed XLT. 234K Miles and going strong. 3" downpipe, 6637 Air Filter,10K mod. Cat sleeps with fishes. Modded turbo base to make it easy to RnR banjo bolt. Shimmed fuel pressure regulator.

Turns out the entire corner window needs to be replaced, frame and all.
The frame and glass ran about $110 with shipping.

I'll post up pictures when I figure out how to get this new window in!

So why do they sell just the handle? Or was it part of the frame that broke in your case?

According to my glass guy, there is a tab that is attached to the window frame. That tab is usually what breaks off. In which case, the entire frame must be replaced.

I think that they sell the handles for people restoring their interiors.. My old handles were very sun faded.
