Air conditioning not working

I have a 97 7.3 diesel. The air conditioning will not run. It ran fine last summer. There is not power to the compressor wiring. The fuse under the hood is good. Anyone have an idea what the problem could be? Broken wire? Bad senser? Another fuse I don't know about? Thanks for your help!

Sensor connection BAD

just happened to me yesterday on my'97. About to take it to the service guy and plunk down hundreds of dollars, but talked to another buddy of mine and he told me the sensor on top of the compressor acts like it is going bad or has a bad connection. i pushed the sensor down while my truck was running and the clutch on the compressor kicked in and started blowing my ice cold air again!!!!
Goin to replace sensor if it's not too pricey, but for now i just tied the 2 wires together with a butt connector and it worked!!!
thank God i didn't have the service guy do that, i have a real problem with people working on my truck, and they haven't yet, 4 years and still a shade tree mechanic!

I would try the sensor and relay before anything else. Good luck!

not sure if this will help but I was having a/c trouble. My a/c was not kicking on all the time like almost never. one day I was under my hood with the engine running and touch the high pressure switch and it kicked on let got it kicked off. I replace the pigtail for 11 bucks been working good ever since.
