Steering Wheel Swap

Ok so I picked up a newer f150 steering wheel and harness out of a 98 I believe. I did a search on the swap and didn't find much info other than it's supposed to be plug and play. I was doing a little recon out in the garage today and could not find any plugs that matched up besides the ignition switch. I saw there were a few guys on here that succesfully did the swap so I'm hoping someone who has done this can chime in with some better details on the wiring portion of this.
Thanks

I don't know if this will be of any help to you, but HERE GOES: My new to me 1996 E-350 van came without cruise control. Desperately want and need cruise control. So I bought a used steering wheel that had the c c buttons, and wouldn't you know it after about 100 miles the c c stopped working. Well it's all in the "CLOCK SPRING" What was listed as appropriate for my van did not fit. It took several conversations with Rock Auto to get it right.

Not exactly what I'm looking for but thanks for the input! Worst case I just tear it apart and match wires up.

What's on the '98 wheel that's not on the OBS? The air bag, of course, but it will never work. Are there radio controls or something?

Are you swapping just the wheel, or the whole column?

Swapping the whole column. The controls are the same. Just cruise control, no radio buttons or anything. The connectors are different so I'm just trying to see what everyone else has done to make it work. I assume they just snagged the connectors along with the column/wheel and spliced everything together.
