Question about trans fuild

Lately my trans has been feeling like its slipping a tad and I checked the fuild and it's clearing/light brown. Smells weird, only feels like it slips at WOT but half throttle it pulls fine, trans temp doesn't get over 180, trans is all stock except a triple disk, and I believe it's been a while since its had fresh fuild..

Would it be fine if I flushed it and added new fluid? Will the slipping go away?

New fluid will help alot, you could also throw in some Lucas trans stuff in too, I used it in my truck and my Pontiac, it did help with shifting.
