What are F250s worth?

There's a real good deal on a 99 I might pull the trigger on, but not sure what is fair to list my 97 for. I'm thinking $7500, is that out of line?

BTW, LOTS of maintenance has been done. O-rings, pedestal/outlet/collector, new front springs and bushings, trans, rear end, driveline, body mounts, etc.

Where are you located? They seem to be a bit inflated around here. Looking on Craigslist there's not on OBS under $7k right now, up to $12k. It's a bit ridiculous.

Don't even try to find a cheap Dodge around here.

What was wrong with it for such a low price on a VERY desirable truck?

311k, and it was raining that day so for some reason the windshield decided to pour water all over the dash in hindsight I wish I would have just hauled it up to you to sell brad, even if ya did it on consignment I would have made more buy paying you lol

270k, above average body and carpet. Some dings and such. Real good paint though and no rust.

Replace the 4x4 stickers, so it's not so obvious that it's been painted. Even if the buyer figures it out, it'll "feel" better to them to have a more OEM look.

The two major resale value factors not mentioned are odometer miles and tranny type. Does "new...trans" mean it's an automatic? Is it any special build, or pretty close to stock? If it were a 5-speed, and esp. with the dumb-mass flywheel swapped out, it would fetch $7500.

Milage and excessive water leak hurt the price, but I bet I would of gotten 10k for it
