fuel heater

had to unhook it was blowing fuse # 22. do i need the heater? i live in maryland gets pretty cold in winter. just wounder if i need to replace it or not.

No, pretty much worthless on our trucks.

If your OBS is the same as the SD's then that fuse will create a nostart if it's blown.

Mines unhooked too, Don't need it, it may help the fule flow a little better through the filter in really cold temps but I figure the fuel in the tank and lines would gel by then anyway.

Bringin this back to the top.Mine is doin the very same thing and since one end of the wire on my heater is broke loose I would rather unhook mine as well,but where exactly is the plug in for it???
