K guys, next question. I got everything apart finally, and the part where it says push the end of the pilot valve in 1/8"...I can't get it to budge... That mean I just need a new one?
I had the TW before I done the injectors, and you're basically screwed if you're racin' w/ the 5spd unless somehow you can get a good jump on someone...But then again it takes a lotta motor to get an 8k lbs truck rollin' in a hurry like that...30mph+ is where it seems to really start pullin' the best...
Cruisin' around town I never had much trouble outta the import tuners past 30mph. If they anticipated the light change like I always do, they could definitely beat me on the 60ft. I dunno if it was a lovely show of my truck's torque w/ TW's tunes, or a poor display of their cars hp but if I could stick close to 'em up to 30, I would walk on past 70% of 'em.
The only DIESEL's that pulled past me was a jacked up automatic SRW 6.0 with some sucky tuner that could barely puff any smoke... he'd usually end up barely passin' me... The other one was an '03ish 4wd dually cummins. He had a harder time passing than the 6.0... He didn't wanna race a lot though. (Maybe the stovepipes behind my cab scared him?
). He almost bought my truck one time where everybody u-turns 'cause his *** wasn't payin' attention. Lucky for him Dodge's have pretty good brakes
My chip should be at Tony's shop by now, according to UPS. I tried calling him today to see when it'd be ready but I think he has caller ID and ignores my number
