The first things to do are to get rid of the factory air box and replace it with the 6637 air filter.second is get a 3inch down pipe to replace the restricted one the factory put on and also a good time to remove the cat and muffler then get gauges for it

94-97 Power Stroke 1.0 Quick Spool Turbo Housing

Spools the turbo closer to 1300rpm than the stock 2000rpm. You do have to remove the turbo. 4" down pipe will not fit unless you beat the hell out of the firewall. Just as well as there is no need for anything bigger than 3" DP. I _think_ diamond eye has the best priced complete exhaust. For most any of these purchases try and wait till thanksgiving to take advantage of sales.

Don't get a cold air intake the k@n style filters let to much pass through them and will wreck your turbo which is why I said do a 6637 air filter

Cold air intake is for noise only. I'm Running a stock air box and definitely not running out of air. The turbo can only suck so much air. There have been test that show that aftermarket intakes most of the time show no difference than the original. In fact sometimes there is a loss in power. It's very important the the intake is sucking cold air and not engine bay air. A lot of intakes don't achieve that. My buddy has a dodge with over 325 at the wheels and the dyno graph to prove it and it's running the stock filter. That truck would be considered a 380-400hp motor. Do the exhaust and a intercooler. The 1.0 housing is a great idea too. The chip will give you some more fuel and better transmission programming.
