I had a superchips, exhaust and cold air and I saw a best of 20-21mpg driving from central il to evansville in. I drove it right on 55 mph. if I drive over 60 it seems to drop down to around 16-17... I love this truck been nothing but good to me. i do however change oil every 3k miles and service the truck quite frequently. I learned real fast being a school bus mechanic that changing oil more frequently helped mileage more than anything... I had 260+ buses to service. I know several guys that change the oil in their trucks every 10-15k miles I think they are crazy too... cuz they run the dog piss out of them too. especially with mods if you have a fuel soaked oil it will thin out obviously which in my experience has been nothing but bad for fuel mileage. just my 2cents brandon |

Nice to see another TRON on here. Thanks for your service. Youd probably be surprised that all the P3's at my last command were probably alot like the ones you worked on. VP94 had the oldest P3's left when I was there. They were all P3C update 2.5's. |
