OK,
So last night I was installing a 50 gallon tank in my truck. I first got a filler neck kit from Northerntools and it was the wrong size. I got the replacement and went to go cut the filler neck.
Well I found a 2" tube with a 1" tube in side. It looks like the main filler was the 1" and the 2" was the vent. No wonder this thing has been a bit** to fill up. I could barley get 12 gallons in the tank.
So I am wondering what kinda trouble I would cause by removing the inner tube. once the outer one was cut, the inner tube pulled out of the tank with ease.
