sd turbo on a obs?

im interested on buying a turbo that came off a sd with a 7.3.before i do i just want to know if it will work,with it being wastegated.also if it does work is it worth a couple hundered bucks,seller says it has about 100k on it and has no play,or minimal,also has a ar 1.00 housing,will i see any benefit if ti works?

96 F250 460-auto-ext.cab-long box-4.10-152k-10mpg all day running or not.....

Don't do it.

You will have to use the SD's intake plenums, I think pedistal, and intercooler, with i/c tubes etc...

Just a lot of work for not much better of a turbo.

Look into getting the Beans D66...

I could have went into much greater detail, but I'm at work and couldn't look up every single thing you'd need.

There is a conversion kit on www.dieselsite.com that will show you everything involved... it's a little bit over a grand for everything just to put on a stock superduty turbo.
