intercooler question

ok well my buddys got a '95 7.3, hes trying to get as much power as possible out of his edge evolution by adding an intercooler. iv heard of it being done.
how hard and what parts would it require?
any help would be much appreciated.

Any 7.3 or 6.0 cooler will fit with a little work, a ATS IC will also work fine and will not require any fabing. More power..no but will help with egts if he's having problems.

ok. how much work will it require? will he have to have new pipes made? or will the ones off the intercooler fit like they did out of the donor truck?

Just cutting holes for the tubs to get to the IC. The stock pipes will not work without cutting them up a lot. You may need some additional piping pieces to complete the new pipes. Take your time cutting and twisting the pieces around, tack and check fit as you go.
