roof clearance lights

I have a 96 350 PSD and ive bought some running lights, but i was wondering if anyone knows how to wire it up to the main lights?

i haven't found a wire diagram yet due to the library in my neighborhood not having the book i need.

and if you could tell me the measurements for the lights across the top of the roof that would be great too!

thanks,
George.

Not sure on the measurements......I believe in the pass. kick panel you will have an open(unused) plug.....which is where the factories tie into

Not the cleanest way to wire but when I did mine I ran the wire down the pillar and through the firewall and up to the parking lights and spliced it in. For measuring I just climbed up and did a bunch of measuring, I can't remember exactly what I ended up doing but I think I found the mid point in the roof and for the 3 in the middle I think I spaced them out about 6 inches and then went something like 18 out to the outer lights, not for sure though. I think I put them like 2 inches up from the window molding. I'm sure someone will find a template for ya.

PM FarmBoysDiesel, there a vendor here on the site, they can hook you up on a deal for a set of stacks

As for the clearance lights, there should be a thread on here about the measurements on the lights.

I believe Marty(Maintain) did a write up on it. Its very detailed, and should be able to help you do yours.

Just do a search, and you should be able to find it
