You can use a 10.5 in place of the 10.25. With the Trac-Lok 10.5, you can crack the case in half and install more clutches. This preloads the clutches and the Trac-Lok will be more tighter.
I hate my 10.25 Trac-Lok. I acts like a peg leg. I tried the dragging the E-brake; that used to work but not anymore.
There is more to the swap but its easy. Do a search, you will find the info.
