Are all Carr Hoop II steps the same?

I've got a 96 F250 XLT Crew Cab 4x4 Shortbox. All the Carr steps that apparently fit (according to the web sites) are like $65 each.

The ones on Amazon are $35 a piece, from auto companies, but don't have exact fitment, or at least it won't let me specify my model exactly.

I'm looking for the Hoop II.

They all look the same and the specs say "fit most trucks" so I'm wondering if I should get them on Amazon and save some cash. I guess I could just send them back if they don't fit.

Thoughts appreciated.

I have the wide step ones on mine, but they all from what I have seen fit the exact same way, drill 2 holes and run 2 screws per step, I have 4 on my truck

I have the Bully AS200 steps on my truck. They look just like the Carr steps and run like $30 for the pair.

I would be looking at something that doesn't bolt to a SINGLE layer piece of SHEETMETAL. Look into something Like N-fab, Westin nerd bars, DeeZee Tough Step, etc

If I jump on mine they rock the truck good, but you can tell it pulls a bit there too, if I had the coin I would have gotten the n-fab ones

They are to replace the two steps that were broken off and I have two Carr left on the drivers side, so I would prefer to have matching steps.

Looks like I will order from Amazon.
