Diesel fuel

Is there a difference where to get diesel? I notice when I get gas in my car from different stations the mileage is different, is the same with diesel? I noticed the last fill I am getting a little less mileage than the tank before.

You defiantly want to watch where you get your diesel from more importantly. You want to go to stations that u see a lit of truck traffic go through. This way the fuel.isn't sitting.in the underground tanks for weeks maybe months at a time.

Agreed, busy stations tend to have fresher fuel

Thanks, the last station does not look like it moves fuel too much, even though it is a volero.

Valero's are actually good stations where I used to live, but typically higher in price too

One tank isn't enough to attribute a difference to anything. As said, the more important thing is to get an idea of how much diesel is sold at a given station.

I don't know where you're from but around here Mobil and Citgo have a lot of truck traffic and usually the best prices. The tow company we use fill up all 15+ trucks at the same Mobil I use with no complaints

I always try to buy from the same place to avoid problems. WaWa is my usual stop with some diesel concentrate http://www.amsoil.com/lit/databulletins/g3186.pdf to help with the ULS and mileage.
