Gear Ratio Question

I thought i saw on here that one of you guys said that you can tell what gear ratio your truck has from the factory by looking at your door jam sticker. I looked at mine and I saw that under the " axle" title it said, off of memory, 35s. Does that sound right, and if so I would assume that means it has 3.55's? correct? thanks

Do an Internet search on "Ford truck axle codes". Or find an FSM. You'll see that 35 means 4.10 open. 39 is 3.55 open.

Ford Axle Code Chart .: Articles

I'm surprised this chart isn't a sticky since this question comes up a lot.
