1996 F350 Wheels/Tire Size

According to my factory spec sheet, my 1996 F350/Crew/4x4/8'box/7.3L, came with "LT235/85x16" tires and "16 inch forged Aluminum Wheels".

When I bought the truck, it had 265/75 R16, 10 Ply tires and has the rims as shown in the photo below. As I understand, these are not factory wheels. I am trying to figure out why the owner would have put these aftermarket look-alike wheels on the vehicle. I notice that my current wheels appear to be a little more robust that the factory wheels. Would the previous owner put these wheels on to better accommodate the larger tire size?

Any thoughts/ideas/comments.

My guess would be those tires/wheels are on there because some took the factory Alcoas off and put on a set of larger wheels/tires. Then the next owner did not like the larger wheel/tire and put your current wheel/tire set up on

Looking for Blue 40-20-40 seats. PM me !!!!!!!
