wrecker no start

I have got a 96 f-superduty wrecker with 211k that wont start. It ran fine one day then sat over night and wouldnt start the next morning. I knew it wasnt getting fuel cuz it wasnt smoking when i would crank it so I towed it in the shop and did a cps, fuel filter, fuel pump, gpr, checked the injector connectors in the valve covers-none were burnt, also checked the fuses and comp ground and things like that, but it still wont run. I am probably going to have it scanned if i cant figured it out in the next day or so. Any ideas on what to check next? Im thinking of makin sure the hpop is full but im not sure what else??

Did you check the fuses in the power distribution box in the engine compartment? If not check fuse #22 its the fuel heater element fuse. If its burnt then your fuel heater element is shorting out and you will have to unplug it till you replace it.

If its not that and you know you have fuel pressure, then I would check the batteries and make sure your not dropping below 10.5 volts while cranking. The pcm needs 10.5 volts for startup.

oooh i just got my truck fixed after it had similar symptoms. My truck just got back today from a tech my dad knows. Turns out my hpop regulator was "messed up". I think it was the o-rings, but i can get more detail on what happened if u think this could potentially be your problem.

My truck wouldnt crank after it was warmed up, it got to where it barely cranked cold. I also had no smoke while cranking, and i replaced everything u listed.

Definitely get that hpop regulator checked out bud!
