Foil Delete for OBS's???

Saw a bunch of write ups on doin a foil delete on powestrokes. What is a foil delete and can u do it on an OBS powerstroke? I notice that theres foil on the dp but dont know why that would help anything....

help a noobie out

It's just the removal of the foil that's around the pipe. No performace gain, it just looks a lot cleaner (if you clean all the crap off the pipe real good) and it should give you a bit more turbo whistle too.

You can't do it... its not taking the wrap off the downpipe, its taking the wrap off the intercooler pipes. The OBS trucks dont have intercoolers.
