Valve cover/fuel injector harness

Hey guys, just got a 1997 f350. I'm about to do the glow plugs on it and replace the valve covers because they're leakin a little bit. I saw these Dorman valve cover gaskets with the fuel injector wiring harnesses. Dorman® OE Solutions™ 615-202 - Diesel Valve Cover Gasket | O'Reilly Auto Parts would these be a good idea to get?? the truck has 260,000 miles. It does run just a little rough and gives me some trouble starting in the morning, followed by white smoke, but seems to run pretty good.

Although I'm no expert on this...I'm interested in the replies. I have 2 connectors that are burnt out, so I'm down AT LEAST 2 glow plugs for cold starts...white smoke, etc...

Will be watching this thread...

Dorman gaskets DO fail out of the box at times. At least one guy had a problem with one shorting to ground, but only when he torqued down the cover bolts.
