Whats these two hoses for?
On the bottom of the radiator I have 3 hoses. One about 5/8 and 2 hoses about 3/8. The 5/8 on the drivers side is a tranny hose. The other 2, 3/8" one on drivers side and one on the other side. They are short hoses (1 about 15", one about 6" They are clamped (original) to spouts on the rad. and open ended. I thought they were drain hoses but when I open the pet**** water only comes from the pet**** What could these hoses be/was. There just hanging there. TIA

The two 3/8 hoses orginally were for the trans cooler. From the factory the trans cooler supply line runs through the radiator to warm the trans. Sounds to me like someone bypassed it.
As for the 5/8 hose... Is that one hanging in the breeze too? |
