94 F-350 Core support

I'm looking to buy a new core support for my 94 powerstroke and I'm seeing everyone is having problems getting the right one. Rock auto has one for 168 and 130 to ship. Is this the wrong one? http://http://www.rockauto.com/catal...402&cc=1126819

You put in an extra "http//" (without the colon). In any event, that's the wrong core support, no surprise. No way you'd find a diesel support for anywhere close to that price. The one for the diesels, the bottom rad part goes much lower. They're crazy hard to find, and waaaay more expensive than that one.

That's what I figured, and thanks for the http thing I didn't realize that. Has anyone made their own out of a gas one? That kind of price is insane how can no one make one in the aftermarket?!?!?

people have bought the gasser version and then drilled out all the spot welds in it and their current one and swapped the hoop that holds the radiator. and rewelded it. this only works if your current support has a good hoop

Cool, I'll have to take a look at mine. I know it's rotted by the body mounts, I'm not sure how far it goes tho. Thanks so much!

I vaguely looked on here and didn't see it, but it could be here. In any event I have a f150 I tore down yesterday from Florida and I know the core support is good on that so Ill be heading down to pull that out tomorrow. I found one manufacturer on eBay selling the support as well. At least I'm assuming its the right one as its $400+ but it might not be.

Unless it is a FORD support, it is NOT the correct one.

No one in the aftermarket makes a Diesel support
