PSD's have been swapped into many different vehicles. This one should be pretty easy. The main thing is to use a complete wiring harness from a donor truck. I'm not sure if the engine cradle is different for gas engines or not, but you may just have to change the motor mounts. The fuel system is different also. The gasser has electric pumps and the PSD has mechanical.

Wouldn't you need to swap the tranny as well, I thought the bellhousing pattern was different?

if you have a donor truck you have to take everything motor mounts, rad, powersteering box, wiring harness *note there are 5 plugs on the driver side front inner fender all the wires are there but the plugs may be different, if the vehicle had a 460 (7.5L) the tranny and crossmember wont have to be changed otherwise it will *if the vehicle has the e4od auto trans it will not work unless the diesel also came with that trans.
