Stock fuel presure at fpr?
What should the fuel presure be at the fpr stock? I just put a gauge on mine and it reads slightly under 60 and the needle goes up and down slightly with the idle.

ON A 97 PSD THE PRESSURE AT THE FPR IS FACTORY SET AT 40 PSI. AT IDLE AND THE PRESSURE SHOULD REMAIN CONSTANT. THATS WHY IT IS CALLED A REGULATOR. SHIMMED IT SHOULD READ BETWEEN SAY 50 AND 70 AT IDLE, ANYTHING OVER THAT THE SHIM SHOULD BE REMOVED. YOU WILL GET DIFF READINGS ON DIFF TRUCKS BUT IT SHOULD BE IN THAT NEIGHBORHOOD. A "JUMPING SOME NEEDLE" IS NORMAL IF THE ENGINE IS NOT SURGING.
