Sensor in factory air box ....

I was checking out the situation with the install of the WIX.

Of course there was K&N in there ....

Should this sensor be installed at the end of the 6637 ?

Not a big deal to do so, just ask'n

2x. That is the IAT. Just reads how hot the inlet air is and runs comparisons across the oils temp, coolant temp, and the MAP sensor. I read some people taking it off and nothing happens.

Zip tie it to the fender. Stays out of the way of everything.

Will do .... for now I did this.

(I ran out of 4" mandrel bends)

Pipe was a little loose fit so I cut a piece to sleeve it...then welded seam.

Press fit into filter for now, tight.

I will redo the entire thing once more pipe comes in....

Absolutely ...

Once I get more pipe, I plan on making some mounts to support filter off of fenderwell.
