FPR question

Hey guys, do you need to check the fuel pressure after you do the FPR shim?
I was thinking about doing the mod but don't have gauge to check the pressure when I get done. What brand of gauge do you recommend?

Are there any disadvantages to doing this mod?

Any input would be great. Thanks in advance.

You should check the pressure before and after the shim. Any fuel rated gauge will work, but good ones are better. If you install a 90 degree fitting where the schrader valve is now, and reinstall the schrader, you can use a mechanics fuel pressure gauge to check it.

Can an engine compression tester be used to check the fuel pressure at the shraeder valve?
