FPR question
Hey guys, do you need to check the fuel pressure after you do the FPR shim?
I was thinking about doing the mod but don't have gauge to check the pressure when I get done. What brand of gauge do you recommend? Are there any disadvantages to doing this mod? Any input would be great. Thanks in advance. ----------- 97 F-250 4x4 5 speed DIY Intake 3'' downpipe with straight pipe |

You should check the pressure before and after the shim. Any fuel rated gauge will work, but good ones are better. If you install a 90 degree fitting where the schrader valve is now, and reinstall the schrader, you can use a mechanics fuel pressure gauge to check it.
