Heavy Towing

When I purchased my truck, the guy before me did a lot of heavy towing. What parts of the truck does that exactly wear and tear?

The more you work the truck, the more it will wear. Everything from the frame to the engine will wear more. These trucks are designed to handle it, so hook it up

as long as the truck is driving fine , i wouldnt be concerned about any of it , depending on how much weight he towed and was he pulling a tag along trailer or fifth wheel, if a fifth wheel was pulled , may want to just have the rear end fluid changed and maybe the bearings checked , i wouldnt sweat it to much they are built to handle it

my first concern would be the tranny.

if you see a light at the end of the tunnel, it's probably just a photon torpedo

the suspension just seems really tight and I have to replace the fuel injection pump and the front axle. The belt squeeks a little but other than that the truck drives fine.
