2 questions
1) does anyone know why Ford didn't make any 250's or 350's for 1998?
2) i have heard that there's a difference between 94-96 Powerstrokes and the 97's. they said it has something to do with Ford handling the computer instead of International. Is this true? if so, how big of a difference is it? thanks all Guy |

I could be wrong here, and I'm sure someone will correct me if I am, but I think they DID make at least 250's in 98. It was not an OBS and not a SD body style, more like the 150's body style.
Or was this in 99???? A F-250 "regular duty" (as opposed to Super Duty) AHH hell, I don't know!! My parents friend had one at any rate, I don't know what year it was though. |

my buddy had a light duty f250 with the 5.4l i think that looked like a f150 after the obs style but im not sure what year it was whether it was a 97 or 98

I believe they may have built the 250 like the 150, but as for the 250-350s the superdutys were on the road by april-may of 1998, so they did they were just 99 superdutys

my father actualy bought is 99 in june of 98 so they did make them in 98 but they called them 99 superdutys then before that was the 97 F series

they didnt have any 1998 model of the obs or the superduty. they had a f250 in an f150 body style with the gas motor. couldnt tell you why though

I have ofter wondered about the 97's, Pop has one and when you step on the pedal that thing will get down and go. its all stock except for a stadyne gpr, it seems to have more power that the stock "06" 6.0L and the "99" 7.3L that are on the farm. it runs like it has been chiped, but it was bought new from the lot.
anyone have any clues on this????? |

I think injectors in a 97 have a little more pep than what the 94-96's have.

my 97 has 120cc injectors.
