Any body know what this chip does?

Hi all,I was wondering if this is like any of the DIY mods on here? I had one on my '99 PSD and it ran awesome Now I have one on my '97 and it makes a whale of a difference only my CEL will come on if I romp on it too hard.And when it comes on my chip ($50) quits working and when I shut the truck off and restart it the CEL clears and my chip works again.I had no problems with the same chip in the '99. Why did I sell that truck

I guy i work with got one of those for his 01' and it made a big difference. I couldnt tell ya why its doing that to your 97 though...

It is bascially a 10K Mod.

You can do one yourself for very cheap.

You will NEVER see anywhere close to the HP Gains they are claiming.

It is JUNK, get a CHIP, it will be MUCH better
