Trannie rebuilt kit from TCI

Hi i'm planing to rebuilt my tranny with tci part the master racing overhaul kit, the filter kit and the maxi toque converter(they have 6 or 8 lugs I think if i remenver, I dont know no how to decide if one is better than the ohter or is the same) but I need to know if is a good kit for my daily driver truck, i dont push it to hard just a normal drive and towing in weekends but not always do that. And by the way, how i know if my trannie is a E40d?.

My truck is a F250 4X4 1996-97 Heavy duty 7.3L turbo diesel with out intercooler long bed.

Thanks I apriciated any info that could help me to decide if is a good kit low $$$ for my poket and that could last some year.
