Idle pressure/guage
Installed a 2nd fuel pressure guage at the shreader valve today thinking the first one I ordered was faulty since it read only 12 psi out of a 100 at idle. I ordered another 100 psi FPG from JEGS and it only reads 16 psi at idle. What baffles me is the truck runs good and idles good. Some time ago I cracked the fpr block trying to tighten the vacuum switch to keep it from leaking and JB Welded it, no leaks. I`m wondering if I lost something in the fpr block when I had it off. I made sure the little ball was behind the screen.. Did the BB trick so I wanted to check the pressure. I should have 65/70 right? Anyone know where I should start to check this out to increase the fuel pressure? May need a new FPR $485.00 at Ford. My guide says it is set at 40 psi I wonder if I could set it somehow? TIA

I see 85 psi at most when I floor it and let off. and when I am on it I have seen as least of 20 psi. I would look into a new FPR IMO I don't think highly of using jb weld on fuel products the fuel eats it away

I agree. I also think it should be replaced. Thanks for the reply
