Water in fuel hose
I have two connections at the bottom of the fuel filter housing. I need to install an extension. One is blocked off w/screw and the other one has a hose that runs toward the front of the engine and then disappears under other hoses, stuff, etc. When I drain it the fuel comes down on the pass side toward the back of engine and splatters everywhere so another cleanup on my floor. It`s so tight in there I can`t trace it. Any ideas? Please don`t tell me I have to remove the housing . TIA

The one that goes to the front of the engine is the fuel drain. The fuel should run out of it. It exits under the alternator. I'm not sure about the other one.

You are right, thats where it disappears so it probably stops under all the other stuff and thats why I couldn`t trace it. If I can get my hands down there I will put a longer hose on to drain in a pan. Thanks Pipelayer for the info.

It's hard to see, but if you look from under the truck, it is between the head and alternator mount. It is a hard line.
