Calling all electrical gurus!!

Has anyone ever attempted to make a remote for a winch?

I can't find mine but I'm thinking it wouldn't be to difficult to make one. It's just a three prong plug. forward, backward and neutral.

Any ideas?

Need a plug to connect and the type of winch may help find the diagram to make the wiring

Use a test light to determine if its a positive or negative trigger.

Basically, just a switch controlling a solenoid pack.

Perfect switch to use would be a Carling 3 prong ... I have quite a few

cool. i figured it would be easy but im not real bright when it comes to electrical stuff.
